Larsen Packaging
Client: Warehouse
Location: St. Charles, IL
Renovations to this industrial warehouse construction project comprised a complete revamp of a 103,000 ft² former food packing facility. The warehouse food and packing assembly lines were removed and demolished entirely to make way for a state-of-the-art warehouse racking storage and multiple installations of packaging machines involving a massive upgrade of existing electrical, concrete cutting, and underground plumbing. The 4000 ft² office space was gutted and completely overhauled to accommodate 15 brand new offices from floor to ceiling, including all new electrical, mechanical, and plumbing components and ADA upgrades.
Slaten Construction proudly partnered with Larsen Packaging to execute an ambitious project involving the construction and remodeling of three buildings across two states. Facing challenges with loan capacity, extensive machinery requirements, and tight budgets, we collaborated closely with Mr. Larsen to value-engineer solutions for immediate and future needs. Through a design-build approach, we maximized cost savings and assembled a dedicated traveling team for work in Ohio, ensuring the project remained within budget. This success story highlights our commitment to overcoming challenges and building lasting relationships. We are honored to have contributed to Larsen Packaging’s growth and continue to support their ongoing success.
